Horsetail hair

Simple ponytail hair is our basic material and also our favorite material. Horsetail hair has many outstanding characteristics.

Built in ventilation system

As a bedding material, there are few materials that can rival horsetail hair. Each curly ponytail is like a miniature spring, which enhances the elasticity of the internal spring system, providing good support and flexibility. The ponytail itself is also equipped with an efficient ventilation system.

Each bundle of horsetail hair is like a miniature air duct: a hollow tube with capillarity that can expel moisture and breathe in fresh air. Horsetail hair can efficiently remove moisture. If it is immersed in water and shaken a few times, it can immediately regain dryness. We have millions of natural miniature springs installed inside, providing comfort while also helping you expel excess heat and moisture during deep sleep. Therefore, you can fall asleep faster at comfortable temperatures, enjoy continuous deep sleep, and fully recover your energy. This will greatly improve your sleep quality.

No allergens present

The horsetail hair we use has been tested by numerous independent European research laboratories. It was found that our tail hair does not contain any allergens, which means it does not cause allergic reactions. It is also worth mentioning that horsetail hair is an organic material with natural antibacterial, antifungal, and mite resistant properties, which helps to create a healthy and hygienic sleep environment.

Filler materials inherited from the 19th century

We use natural horsetail hair in our bedding and utilize its excellent properties to create long-lasting natural products. Firstly, rinse the horsetail hair thoroughly in boiling water, then spin and disinfect it. We heated the horsetail hair to 140 ° C in a very humid environment at four times the normal atmospheric pressure.

The entire process does not add any impurities. Ultimately, clean and elastic natural materials are created. We will properly store the processed horsetail hair and then differentiate it for use in manufacturing us or mattresses. When unraveling the long braids of horsetail hair, it will exhibit a graceful wavy shape and increase in volume several times. For the past 200 years, we have consistently adopted this traditional production process.

Different types of horsetail hair

We are particularly careful when selecting and classifying horsetail hair, which is a prerequisite for ensuring consistent product quality. We use different types of horsetail hair with different characteristics:

A-Lyx ponytail hair: A specially selected pure ponytail hair that uses its longest and toughest parts to obtain extra elasticity, creating a more elastic and sturdy bedding.

J-ponytail hair: A flexible and elastic mixture of high-quality ponytail hair and cowtail hair, which can make bedding softer and more elastic.

A general term for cotton and kapok

Cotton is soft, tough, and enjoyable, making it perfect for pairing with horse hair, allowing the entire body to breathe freely.

Cotton may be the softest and most comfortable gift given to humans by nature. The cotton we choose is soft, comfortable, and very breathable, allowing the air around your body to circulate smoothly, allowing you to always stay dry and comfortable in a healthy sleep environment, helping you fall asleep faster and extending deep sleep time.

Ventilated and breathable, enjoying a more comfortable sleep

In addition to the lungs, the skin also breathes. There are over 7 million respiratory pores on the body surface, responsible for expelling toxins from the body. To maintain dryness and comfort, bedding must have breathable properties, allowing the air around the body to circulate smoothly.

The difference between cotton and non porous materials

You may have noticed that on hot summer days, cotton shirts feel much cooler and can keep the body dry compared to synthetic clothing. This is because cotton is ventilated and breathable, which can absorb sweat and moisture. At night, 98% of the sweat you shed is water. Therefore, you need to use bedding and bedding with breathable properties to facilitate the rapid evaporation of sweat during sleep.

Non porous synthetic materials such as rubber and polyether do not have any breathable properties. Porous materials cannot expel moisture, which means that most of the sweat excreted from the body will stay in the bed, and warm and humid environments can easily breed mites.

Wool

When you feel cold, wool will bring you warmth; When you feel hot, the wool will give you a hint of coolness. Wool is a natural material with excellent performance and fire resistance.

Wool can be seen as another wonderful gift from nature, perfect for pairing with ponytail and cotton, making it a high-performance material. Pure wool helps to ensure that the bedding maintains an appropriate temperature, just like it comes with a built-in temperature control. As far back as ancient times, people have known the magical properties of wool: it brings warmth when it is cold, and conveys coolness when it is hot. Keep you dry and at a suitable temperature during sleep.

Ideal formula

Kesheng bedding adopts a reasonable proportion of cotton and wool mixed materials, providing a comfortable experience while also giving your bedding natural fire-resistant properties. Wool is currently one of the fibers with the best fire resistance. In addition, wool can also prevent static electricity and has good toughness, elasticity, waterproofing, and thermal insulation.

Improvement and optimization

Wool fibers have a complex structure and textured surface like springs, which have been improved and optimized to provide thermal protection. The unique cellular structure of wool is completely different from other smooth synthetic fibers.

The structure of wool fibers allows a large amount of air to circulate between the fibers, giving this material good natural insulation, flexibility, and elasticity. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight without making people feel damp. The small pores allow water to pass through the wool fibers, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the year, whether it's hot summer or cold winter nights. Enjoy sleep every day.

Long term advantages

The history of wool can be traced back thousands of years. The Babylonians and Egyptians used wool to weave items. In Sweden, the oldest wool woven fabric can be traced back to the Bronze Age, approximately 3000 years ago. At that time, people not only used wool spinning to make clothes, but also made bedding. Since ancient times, wool has always been an ideal material for making bedding and clothing due to its excellent insulation properties. We use wool, cotton, and horsetail hair as fillers and combine them through precise calculations to create extraordinary bedding with temperature control characteristics and natural elasticity.

Flax

Low key and practical, it is the best description of linen. Flax is simple and unadorned, with many benefits that can help you fall asleep peacefully.

Long ago, people began using linen to make their daily lives more comfortable. Linen is sturdy, flexible, and also anti-static. Research has shown that static electricity can cause symptoms such as headaches, dry mucous membranes, and itchy skin. If the human body carries too much static electricity, it may attract inferior molecules around it, leading to or exacerbating allergic symptoms.

The number of layers of linen in Kesheng bedding can be accurately calculated to eliminate static electricity carried by the body, helping you generate more positive energy during sleep.

In addition, linen can effectively absorb noise and vibration, allowing you to enjoy peace and comfort while sleeping and fully recover your physical strength.

Spring

Relieve stress and enjoy good support. Our springs do not make any noise, and you cannot even feel their presence. They can play a coordinating role, keeping your body in a straight line.

Springs are an important component of bedding and are themselves a subject of learning. The springs we choose are of excellent quality and are only manufactured in Sweden. All Kesheng bedding includes two or more collaborative spring systems: the upper spring is soft and flexible, giving the surface of the bedding a soft and comfortable feeling, while the lower spring is more sturdy, providing deep support. It is precisely these collaborative spring systems that enable the bed to fully adapt to your posture, providing you with good support and allowing you to enjoy physical and mental relaxation. We provide a 25 year warranty for all springs in our bedding.

Spring size cannot determine everything

The key to determining the quality of our spring system is not the number of springs, but the type, placement, and clever combination with multiple layers of natural materials. The size, height, and number of coils of the spring collectively determine the quality and performance of the spring system. This is an exquisite and exquisite technique. For example, the more spring coils there are, the higher the quality of the bedding and the longer its service life. But excessive turns can also affect spring compression. When designing a spring system, in order to achieve performance optimization, it is necessary to cleverly balance all aspects. All of our spring systems have been carefully calculated to provide good support, helping you fully release stress and achieve a better sleep experience.

Bag Spring System

Our bagged spring system has a unique design that operates independently of each other. When a single spring is under pressure, adjacent springs are not affected. Each spring responds independently to every subtle movement of the body, which means you won't notice if your partner is rolling over. The special heat treated steel reorganizes the metal structure of the spring, ensuring that the spring maintains its original structure and elasticity, allowing it to always return to its initial position after being compressed. Each spring is placed in a breathable pocket, allowing air to circulate freely throughout the entire bedding, ensuring a healthy sleeping environment.

BONNELL spiral system

The lower spiral system allows the spring to press deeper, touching the bottom spring, allowing the bed to absorb greater pressure, providing you with sufficient support and allowing you to release pressure to your heart's content.
